How to set up Free Email Forwarding ? Print

With AviumsHost, you can create free email forwarding rules directly from your cPanel. This allows emails sent to your domain-based address (like info@yourdomain.com) to be redirected to another mailbox (like yourname@gmail.com).

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Log in to your AviumsHost Client Area and access cPanel for the domain you want to configure.
  2. Under the Email section, click on Forwarders.
  3. Click Add Forwarder.
  4. In the “Address to Forward” field, enter the email prefix (e.g., info).
  5. Choose the domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) from the dropdown.
  6. In the “Destination” section, select Forward to Email Address and enter the target email (e.g., yourname@gmail.com).
  7. Click Add Forwarder to save.

✔️ Optional: Domain-wide Forwarding

You can also forward all emails from your domain by using the “Add Domain Forwarder” tab.

???? Important Notes:

  • Only the original message is forwarded — replies will go to the forwarded address.
  • Email forwarding does not store messages on the server unless you also create a mailbox.
  • Ensure your DNS and MX records are properly configured (especially if you're using external email services).

If you need help setting up forwarding with multiple addresses or filters, contact AviumsHost Support.
