What is Domain Redemption Status?

If your domain expires and is not renewed within the grace period, it enters a status called Redemption.

During this time:

• The domain is no longer active
• Recovery is still possible, but additional fees apply (set by the registry)
• The domain is at risk of being auctioned or deleted permanently

Tip: Always renew domains before the expiry date to avoid redemption fees.
