How to Connect to Aviumshost VPN (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) Print

If your hosting plan includes VPN access or you've added VPN as an extra, follow the instructions below to securely connect on any device.

Step 1: Get Your VPN Credentials

Your VPN credentials are provided via email after ordering. If you did not receive them, please open a support ticket.

Step 2: Choose Your Device

 Windows

1. Download and install OpenVPN for Windows.
2. Import the .ovpn configuration file sent to your email.
3. Right-click the OpenVPN tray icon → Connect.

 macOS

1. Install Tunnelblick from the official site.
2. Launch Tunnelblick and drag your .ovpn config file into the app.
3. Click “Connect”. You may be asked for your admin password.

 iOS (iPhone / iPad)

1. Install the free OpenVPN Connect app.
2. Send the .ovpn file to your iOS device (via email or AirDrop).
3. Open it with OpenVPN Connect and tap “Add”.

 Android

1. Install OpenVPN for Android.
2. Transfer the .ovpn config file to your phone.
3. Open the app, import the config file, and tap “Connect”.

Troubleshooting

• Make sure your internet connection is stable before connecting.
• Try switching VPN servers if you're experiencing slow speeds.
